Veterinarians near Gorham

“I've meant to leave a review for awhile and just happened to remember today. I've been seeing this vet since approximately 2018 and they have always been able to see my animals in a timely manner and provided great care. I started seeing them first when I got my cockatiel who was quite the troublemaker, getting himself hurt several times. Though some of this was due to my own inexperience they were always able to get me in for emergency appointments promptly and made sure he got proper care. They took my calls quickly and always got me in quickly even sometimes sneaking me in only an hour after i called or taking me after hours. I later brought in my guinea pigs who were experiencing skin mites, I regret not bringing them in sooner. Dr. Mulski saw them and although she came off a little rude at first I quickly learned she is very enthusiastic about your pets wellbeing. I saw true excitement in the vet and vet techs as they saw them improve and that truly means alot. I also started bringing my cat to them. Their prices are very reasonable especially compared to some of the nightmare charges Ive gotten with past vets. Even with overnight care Ive never feared breaking the bank with them and they have always showed true compassion for my pets. I just brought my kitty in a few weeks ago for some concern about asthma. They suggested quite a few tests that Im glad i signed off on as they caught a thyroid issue early that we may not have caught otherwise. Dr. Niedermeyer also sat down with me and explained his xrays and test results in detail which im very thankful for. Both vets here are great and really care along with the rest of the staff. I wish I had started seeing them sooner as they have truly helped my pets and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.“

“You can tell that the workers at the specialty clinic truly love animals. I am so grateful that we took my cat Nelson here because I left feeling so much less scared about our plan to treat his cancer. The oncologist Dr. Mason is honest, highly experienced, empathetic, and passionate about her work, and I am so thankful that we got a vet like her who seems to genuinely care about what she does. I feel secure knowing that she will be honest with us about his health, but I also feel relieved knowing she will make sure he gets the best care possible. All of the staff were also very sweet and compassionate :) I highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for the best care with your animal.“

“I just had to write this review in praise of Pine Point animal hospital and staff and Dr. Drew and his kind, compassionate care of my Penny. Penny has bladder cancer but is still going on good medicine. Recently she developed giarda (sp) and has extreme diarrhea. Really scary blood and poop all over. He calmed me down and said we're still hopeful she'll get through this. Thanks so much for all your support for Penny and me.“

“Dr. Copp, Dr. Farrell and the whole staff have been wonderful! This past year our pets have experienced some acute and life ending medical conditions. When we had to put our beloved golden down due to cancer, the staff was very empathetic and supportive! I am always very impressed when I get follow up calls to check in on how the dogs are doing after being seen for whatever issues. I highly recommend this veterinary practice! “The waits are pretty long and the fees are expensive, but they saved my kitty's life. After our regular vet misdiagnosed her, we brought my sweet middle-aged cat here where they brought her back to health. Now, just a few days after she was about to die, she's at home and playing with her toys. She wouldn't be alive without them. I will say, they need more vets. From what I've come to understand, they may only have one actual vet there at a time, and vets that do specific testing are only there on certain days, so it may take hours to days to truly find what's wrong with your animal. Still, they didn't push us into surgeries do have official diagnoses. When it was pretty clear what was going on, they just treat the animals for that instead of trying to pressure owners into the extra testing. The fees are crazy expensive. We couldn't really afford it, but having my precious angel home and on the road to health is worth it. So, if you can't get into your regular vets and are having an emergency, from my family's experience, your animal is in good hands.“
