Dr. Murphy is a wonderful vet. Our guinea pig Smudge got an eye infection from hay poke that required immediate care. Dr. Murphy saw her the same day we called and provided eye drops and pain meds for Smudge. Her eye cleared up 100% in about a week. Highly recommend!

We started going to Fryeburg as an emergency visit for our oldest dog when the vet we were with said they couldn’t see him for two days. The same day we called the doctors at Fryeburg said bring him in immediately. He had eaten gauze that had been wrapped on a wound he had and the strings were collapsing his intestines. Not exactly but he would’ve died without emergency surgery. They treated him and subsequently all our fur babies as if they were their own. Some vet hospitals are there to treat animals while Fryeburg Veterinary Hospital understands they are more than animals; they are members of your “pack”, they are babies and you hurt when they hurt.
