Do NOT hire Jason Rich. He will steal your money and the materials that you paid for. The only thing he won't do is finish the job. Any work he does do is shoddy and inferior. He is being investigated for several fraud cases. If you have been scammed by him, contact the police. I forsee a prison sentence in his future...
My husband and I hired Jason in mid September to do a job that he said would take less than a week. More than a week later he was not finished and I had to leave town. I left him a check for the remainder of the project. A mistake! When I returned two weeks later I saw that he had done some work but had only completed about 2/3 of the project. Not only that, he deviated from the plans my husband had drawn up. Before I left I made sure he was clear on the details of what we expected. The last time we saw him was in early October when roofing was delivered. Last contact via text was the first week of November. He frequently had excuses for not showing up such as, at the doctor, family member had a brain bleed, trailer was stolen, someone was holding his trailer and wouldn't give him access, etc. Asked for the return of a reasonable amount of money but have not seen a cent so I am taking him to small claims court. I hope everyone who has been ripped off by this man takes legal action. Call the sheriff's office and report it.
Jason Rich signed a contract to build a house for me, took over $6000 deposit and never came back, never called, never produced any materials, and did not return my money. That is called theft by deception.
