My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Williams Family Farm in May. We drove from Bar Harbor on our way to Moosehead Lake. The countryside is full of rolling hills, dotted with farms, forests, and fields. It’s a beautiful drive getting there and the Williams are a beautiful family! We were invited in by Mrs. Williams for a tour of their maple syrup processing machinery. It was really interesting to learn the process and also to taste the different flavors. In addition to maple syrup, they also produce delicious blueberry and blueberry/peach jams, and incredible honey! 10/5 seriously. I was given a maple whoopie pie and it was like a childhood memory. I couldn't believe how good it was. Soft and almost dripping with maple syrup. I had to go online and figure out how to buy them, they're the best gift I could imagine.
