We are a local Maine family with much of our free time spent on the lakes, ocean and exploring the outdoors. While we try our best to groom our pup regularly we needed some extra help to stay on top of our border collie's double coat and dreadlocks. Salty Dog did a great job sprucing him right up while making him feel at ease. We will be going back for sure!

When I first moved to Camden, it was in the middle of Covid I stopped at The Salty Dog and couldn’t even talk to anyone. I was handed a business card and told to call. Fast forward to a couple of months ago - I posted on Facebook looking for a groomer for my elderly dog. Not only did Salty Dog get raving reviews but the owner also responded on my post. I took Maggie shortly after to get her bath and brush. Maggie was done in less than an hour, she looked great and wasn’t stressed at all. It was exactly what I was looking for. Amazing! We take all 4 of our bulldogs to the Salty Dog and can not recommend them enough! They are so caring and treat our dogs like their own. Bulldogs can be difficult to get clean and they do such a wonderful job- very grateful to have them around.Thank you so much!
