“In early December 2024, my 93 year old mom began hospice care with CHANS while a resident at Thornton Hall. From the first meeting with an intake nurse, until her passing in early March 2025, each person treated us with such compassion and understanding, making an incredibly difficult situation much more bearable. The level of care and attention they provided was truly exceptional, ensuring that not only my mom felt supported but the family as well. Communication was excellent between CHANS and Thornton Hall staff, and updates to family also occurred on a regular basis. Kelly, Caitlyn, Megan, Kim, Delaney, Tracy, and Holly in particular were all such a comfort to her, especially in her final weeks. Their dedication to her dignity, comfort, and quality care was evident in everything they did. I’m especially thankful to Caitlyn, for being there with me when my mom passed. I’m deeply grateful for all their care, kindness and professionalism, and would highly recommend CHANS to anyone facing a similar situation.“
