I've been a happy customer for something like 7 years, for both heating oil and propane, but I would never recommend them at present.Firstly, online oil ordering has been disabled for months now, so I have to call to order. The ability to order online is key for me, and I understand temporary system issues, but this is prolonged and there's no status update/ETA for restoration, or any communication around the issue. So fine, it's inconvenient but not the worst to have to call, right? Hey Crowley…just got off the phone with your emergency call center and I thought you should know how combative and dismissive the women we spoke with was. We called in concerned about a leak in our water heater and she mocking told my wife that this was “only for emergencies!! like leaks and shut offs… like a hole in your tank, not leaks in the system!” ? she seemed bothered with both of us the moment we called in. The woman answering the phone at 8:30 on Monday 11/22/2021 gave me a hard time, claimed my tanks need to be lower before filling as “ they will over pressurize and leak” etc etc. each tank is slightly below 75% so that means 275X0.25 = 68.75 gallons times 2 tanks = 137.5 gallons needed. So according to Crowley having space for 137 gallons is not low enough to place an order. This pressurizing issue is an issue w tanks that are not vented right, or could be an issue if the tanker driver does not pay attention to the...read full review
