“To frame my review, first let me preface with the fact that we extensively researched builders before making the decision to work with Main Eco Homes. The determining factors were customer satisfaction, their in-town (Bridgton) location, their great reputation, and the appeal of their beautiful homes—thankfully we made the right decision to work with MEH, as they have exceeded all our expectations.As of the current date in December 2023, it has been approximately one year and four days since we moved into our custom home built by Main Eco Homes. From my initial outreach to MEH in November of 2021, my experience has been incredible. Upon commencement of putting together a contract, I met with the owner, Justin McIver, who meticulously reviewed every significant detail of the proposed home in a personalized, one-on-one setting. Each one of my requests and questions was met with answers and options. When the time came to finalize the contract, everything was explained to me with clarity, giving me the information necessary to proceed with confidence.Throughout the homebuilding process, I chose to be an active participant, being introduced to every contractor working on the project. This allowed me to form connections and establish rapport with each professional involved. Above all, my project manager, Ben, quickly emerged as my most dedicated advocate and collaborator—never once did I feel that my concerns or requests were dismissed or downplayed. Ben always responded to my calls and texts, regardless of the time or day, and even continues to do so to this day. Ben and Camryn, MEH's interior designer, also gave me extensive guidance on interior/exterior design, and even even made introductions to amazing individuals who aided in furnishing and designing the home.One of the things that amazed me was the remarkable ability of our project manager, Ben, to accurately keep track of every single detail, whether we had forgotten them or not—this is just one small example that details the level of care and professionalism shown to us during the process.The last few weeks of the project were particularly special, as we witnessed the entire home coming together. Having surpassed all our expectations, our project was completed ahead of schedule. Following the move into our new home, MEH has remained committed to standing behind their work, promptly addressing any issues that arise—of which there have been very few. I have never been made to feel like an inconvenience with any request, and the resolution of my concerns have always been promptly addressed with a high level of professionalism.Building a custom home is a HUGE undertaking, and choosing your builder is a a decision not to be taken lightly. This process is capable of becoming one of the best or worst experiences of your life. Fortunately, for us, and for many others who shared a similar journey with MEH, it has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives. I have no doubt that this is the direct result of working with Justin and his amazing team at MEH.I want to give a huge shoutout to our project manager and MVP, Ben, and express my deepest appreciation to Justin, Ryan (Electrician), Tyler (HVAC), Ed, Rob, Wayne, Greg, Camryn, Lisa, Danielle, Chris, Josh, and many the other unnamed professionals who contributed to the project. MEH has not only delivered us a beautiful custom home, but has also provided outstanding customer experience, and for that, I will forever be grateful and satisfied.“

“We needed to replace the dangerously dilapidated stairs that access a hiking trail in our Upstate New York Town of Skaneateles Conservation Area. Great Northern Dock's (GND) system proved to be the perfect solution. Since the project is in New York and GND is in Maine, all planning and design was done by phone and email. Cathy Dennehy, GND's Sales Manager, was very accommodating and easy to work with. Their engineer came up with the perfect design. Cathy recommended that installation be performed by Allied Dock Services, also of Naples, Maine. Allied made the 8 hour drive to New York, delivered the materials and completed the installation in less than two days. The stair system is elegantly designed and manufactured. It is a huge improvement, and we are very pleased with the outcome.“

“In 2014, Sebago Dock & Lift, Inc. provided planning, site preparation, materials and installation for a new Alumikon dock. Its original non-slip, strong, storm compatible design is still perfect. SD&L has expertly handled each seasonal installation and removal, and during the off-season the dock sections/ equipment are neatly stacked/stored in the proper locations. Sometimes the staff are hard to reach (likely they're helping someone else), but once you do, the issues are always addressed to satisfaction. Highly recommend.“
