I just want to thank every one at eastern maine emergency vet. After my cat had a very tragic accident we rushed him to brewer we got greeted by them imaditmly taking him out back to get IV started and to give him pain meds. The minute they had pain meds into him they brought us back to a room and brought him to us so we could cuddle him (we knew it was bad and there wasn't going to be a good out come) after about a 5 minute wait the vet came in and told us a the game plan.
