Country Fare is not only a small excavation contractor, we manufacture some of the best lawn and garden soils. Our top seller in the spring is our "Filthy Rich" compost - which contains no bio-solids or sludge and is processed according to MOFGA specifications. Our "growing" products are tested monthly at the MAINE SOIL and TESTING SERVICE at UME for consistency during the growing season. We also offer a product we call "Mega Mulch" which is blended 1/2 dark mulch and 1/2 Filthy Rich compost - a great way to not only make your plant beds more beautiful, you're feeding your plants every time you water or it rains! We also offer another blended product we call 50/50 which is half screened loam and half Filthy Rich compost.
