The Right Place For Finding The Right Pros Near You!
Incredibly skilled, targeting all the right areas and using just the right amount of pressure.
She focused on my shoulder and hip, and it made a huge difference! Also, gave great pointers after the massage for post care! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tailored massage experience!
Anne is amazing! I always get compliments on my hair, especially after a visit to her studio. She's the best hairdresser I've ever had.
Amber is a fantastic stylist! I was a walk-in and the haircut she gave me was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be returning. She’s meticulous and clearly loves what she’s doing.
My favorite place to get a facial! Emma knows her stuff -- products, techniques, best practices for your skin. The value she delivers is incredible!
Stylist: Laura was the kindest stylist ever!
I explained some of the issues I was experiencing with my hair and jokingly requested “a total makeover“ and that’s exactly what she did. She knocked it out of the park. I look 10 years younger and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Heads of the Harbor!
Very professional and friendly Leah does an awesome job I have been going there for 24years now I would recommend Oasis for all your nail seeds
Kaitlin is amazing at her craft! every facial and dermaplaning session is relaxing and perfect and tailored FOR YOU. Procell treatment is a must... be warned, you will be hooked!
I’ve enjoyed taking yoga at Crow Point for over a year-highly recommended!!
I have been a customer for more years than I can count. Recently I had an on demand generator installed and shortly after we had a major power outage and it ran for over 14 hours. I didn't know how much propane one uses and I worried I'd run out. I called for an interim delivery and customer service was very understanding and courteous. Much to my surprise i got a delivery the following day. It was only 93 gallons so I panicked for no reason but I appreciate them taking care of me.
As an avid Maine hiker I can’t say enough about these beautiful coastal trails! The Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) maintains about 20 of these preserves located in Boothbay, Southport, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, and includes preserves on three small islands. These trails are well marked, easy to follow, and provide free public parking. Very few of these trails provide restrooms. Trail navigation by foot ranges from easy to moderate. I love the blue green colors of the ocean water in this region; viewed from many of these trails. Scenery throughout these trails offer a wide variety of landscape including evergreen and deciduous forests, fields of wildflowers, marshes, beaches, rocky hills and cliffs, gorges, historical structures, etc. BRLT trails are teeming with wildlife including deer, waterfowl, seals. Overnight camping is not permitted. Tons of fishing opportunities accessible from many trails. Most of the footbridges and boardwalks are in excellent condition. Trailhead kiosks offer maps. Trail views of the Sheepscot, Ovens Mouth, and Damariscotta Rivers are gorgeous.
Friendly and accommodating staff and professional care from Dr. Nadeau. They got me in very quickly when I had an injury to my eye and kept it affordable for me. Thank you!!
This place exceeded my expectations in every way. Some of my favorite things:
The amount of comfy seating and lounge chairs spread throughout the property so you can read, journal, or relax for hours with stunning views. The daily yoga class was worth the resort fee alone. Nightly smores pit. A well-groomed trail for hiking. Two clean pools with an abundance of towels. Watching sunsets from the hot tub. Playing shuffleboard and PacMan in the Rec Room. Pelotons in the gym! The boat tour of the harbor. Fishing off the dock. The proximity to downtown Boothbay for shopping and dining.
The spa is lovely - highly recommend getting a massage there. You get what you pay for here. We stayed in the Tanager cottage and found it to be roomy, very clean, and stocked with all the amenities we needed.
Overall, the resort is family friendly (great for tweens and teens bc they can safely explore on their own), but it’s also great for a romantic getaway or a solo retreat. We will be raving about our stay to anyone who will listen. So happy we stumbled upon it.
Rooms: On the website, the Tanager A cabin appears to be the most rustic. Yet, it was very clean and comfortable with A/C in the master and main living area, and plenty of fans to keep the cabin cool. The large front porch is set behind the trees and positioned away from other cabins such that it feels very private. No ocean view, but the views are so great elsewhere on the property that we didn’t feel we missed out.
Walkability: Paved paths throughout the property. The property is hilly. You could walk to the Boothbay footbridge to get to town, but it would be a bit of a haul. Best to have a car or take advantage of the trolly.
Noteworthy details: There’s so much to do on site that you could easily stay on the property for your entire vacation and just lounge and be carefree.
