“Growing up, I was constantly told I looked this way or that way. "You weigh too much", "you would look prettier if you…", you name it, I've heard it. My self image has been pretty low, to put it nicely. I scheduled my photo shoot a while ago, but kept needing to push the date back due to scheduling conflicts on my part. I gave her plenty of notice (1-2 weeks ahead of time), and Jessica was absolutely amazing every time I needed to change it.Finally, the date was approaching. The week before, I nearly cancelled. Two days before, I felt so bloated that I couldn't imagine getting good pictures. That morning, I wanted to cry. The anxiety I felt was so strong that I almost called her an apologized. Instead, I went.Jessica and Amelia met me and made me feel at ease immediately. They talked TO me, not at me, or around me. I felt included in the conversation and like the day was about me. My hair and makeup was on point, and super pampering.Jess, man, she knows what she is doing. I brought a million things, but nothing felt complete. She made it work. As we took the pictures, she calmly guided me through the poses, making me feel comfortable and confident. Leaving, I thought "we got at least one good one".I didn't expect to look at my album and think "hot damn!!! These can't even be me" I have never felt so sexy, and alive! I look through that album and my confidence is huge. I can actually see what my husband tells me all the time. I can see what my grandmother has been telling me my entire life. I am a bombshell. Absolutely gorgeous.“
