    My experience with this company has been exceptional. The house is an envelope design that had not been maintained by any of the previous homeowners. The insulation was no longer good and after an incorrect insulation job by another company Tom was able to correct the problem. Looking forward to having a home that is warmer in the winter. Instead of keeping the envelope design I decided to close up the shafts and convert it to a conventional style home. Tom worked out a plan and Brandon, Robbie and Isaac were phenomenal. They were very considerate and cleaned up everything. I had both an attic and a crawl space done. Thank you!

    Drew and his team at the Breathable Home are a breath of fresh air in the very tricky business of winterizing old Maine homes in a sustainable fashion. We have had extensive dealings with a half-a-dozen companies in this line of business and The Breathable Home is the only one that takes a comprehensive view without charging a fortune. My wife and I were almost forced to sell a home we purchased in Maine at a loss because the costs of adding the sustainable heating source we wanted -- mini split heat pumps -- was so prohibitive.
