You'd think with BULL ROASTS, receptions, meetings, catering functions, etc on hold due to the overblown COVID crisis, the Resnick family would hang 'em up and move on. Hasn't happened. Won't happen. I'm sure the COVID hit is huge. I also believe the Martin's family have been excellent stewards of their resources. Marrying into the Greek community, we've been to many Martin's functions. We even have our "free champagne" card we received when we had our reception at East in 1992. That said, Martin's? Shuttered? Well, if you're craving pit beef, and if business takes you to Woodlawn or Catonsville, Martin's West must be on your list. I stopped by and ordered a combo with an 8oz pit beef sandwich, fries and a can of pop for the ridiculous price of $10. I also ordered a separate Ham and Turkey sandwich for $7. The staff here is happy, friendly, efficient and courteous. They are the essence of the Martin's legacy. The food? So good and filling. An excellent value! A recommended yummy, to say the least. Go. And enjoy. You won't be sorry. The "stand" is at the NW corner of the building and is easy to find.
