“Rob and his team (Hammis, Darwin, Erickson, Paulo, Raul, Tony, and Miguel) at Best Buy really helped us out. We moved into a house that, unbeknownst to us, had serious issues with not only basement flooding, but the actual water table. The previous owners had installed gutter systems, runoff drains, and an inadequate French drain system in attempts to stop basement flooding. Rob was able to assess right away that the basement leaks were from the water table being so high, it was submerging the basement at all times, and that water management would be necessary to avoid/stop foundational damage. Rob’s team installed a heavy duty sump pump all the way down to the water table, a drainage system around the perimeter and interior of the basement walls, performed mold remediation, and installed a full vapor barrier, plus a drain grate outside the basement. They got everything done in a day! And when we had an issue with our very old spigot getting stripped and leaking after they’d used it for mixing concrete, they listened and took care of the plumbing repairs without hassle.

Hands down recommend Best Buy to anyone who has a leaking basement. They will take care of it the right way and might even save your home!“

“Can't say enough good things about Edwin and his team at BEC Construction. We contracted them to finish our basement with a bar, full bath, gym, office, and TV area and it came out exactly the way we wanted it. Edwin was always in contact to make sure we were happy with the progress being made. Chino is a perfectionist when it comes to the finishing work, he was in constant communication to make sure things were exactly how we wanted them to look. “I highly recommend GloRem. Eugene and his crew remodeled our home’s entire basement. We started with an unfinished basement. Eugene and his team did an amazing job. From scratch, they completed lighting, put in a full bathroom, painted, installed carpet on stairs, created a half wall, put in beautiful vinyl flooring, installed new basement doors, created windowsills, installed sump pumps and water heater, electrical panels, etc. Through this entire process, Eugene AND his crew were highly professional, respectful, and VERY knowledgeable in what they were doing. From the get go, Eugene gave me a detailed estimate, which I appreciated. We sought quotes from 5 different companies, and we picked GloRem. GloRem seemed the most knowledgeable, and it was very clear that he had thought through all of the details of what we discussed regarding the scope of work. Eugene is highly communicative, and had excellent communication with my husband and I on a daily basis. We always knew that Eugene and his crew would be there each day, working. If we ever had a question, we would text or email Eugene, and he always texted or emailed right back (same day!!). Eugene and/or his crew were at our house each day, working. They really went the extra mile for us. For the heavy items that we ordered for our full bathroom, Eugene and his crew drove to Lowes to pick these up for us, and brought them back to our house. He made the process of finishing our basement stress-free, and we really trusted Eugene and his expertise. Eugene handled pulling all of the permits, arranged for all of the inspections with Howard County (we passed all inspections the first time around), and kept us informed of progress. Eugene did our entire job in 2 months, and the project did NOT drag out. Eugene’s electricians and plumbers were reliable, professional, and did an amazing job. Eugene would check daily and weekly on all of the details. When our basement was finished, the paint job on the walls was flawless. Multiple coats. Beautiful floors. Outstanding layout. Excellent workmanship. Amazing attention to detail. I am taking the time to write this review in appreciation for the work that Eugene did for my husband and I. Mr Jackson’s thoughtful assessment of the work I wanted done, constructive suggestions, and knowledge of his craft made him the obvious choice.He removed the ceramic tile from three rooms and the carpet from another and replaced them with hardwood.
