You get a very high-quality haircut but you also usually end up spending about 2 1/2 hours there. If you don't have an appointment and do a walk-in, you can end up waiting for up to an hour, and then the hair cut themselves usually take about an hour to an hour and a half.
I needed my hair (back/sides) cut down to a reasonable shape since I had the top part braided. I called Twin Barber because they were closer to my house. Mo answered the phone, he was very polite and professional, that won me over right away! I've never been to a barber shop in my life but I kept getting recommendations to go because male barbers have a good reputation for cutting hair the right way! As soon as I walked in, I felt comfortable, being that it's mostly males in there. After I found Mo, he greeted me very professionally, I was no longer nervous. I called the shop one morning, because I needed a cut at the last minute. I spoke to a Guy who said he'd be there when I got off at 630. I called by at 545 and the guy had left, but the person who answered the phone told me to still come & that JD would take care of me. I arrived JD was finishing up a customer and he took great care of me. Gave me his personal number to call him and I've been locked in with him since.
