The shop is lively and full of laughter. They took me right away and took my hair down and washed and conditioned my hair. Then, braiding was fast and it looks wonderful. I love it.

2. Braider was nice but very slow. 7 1/2 hours for box braids 🤦🏾♀️

I first came to No.1 Hair Braiding after they messed up my Senegalese twist at Nadine's. They were unraveling and it was too far to go back there to have them fixed. I came here because this shop is down the street from me. Cynthia fixed my twists at no charge, and I had no issues with them after that. So I chose to book with her again a few weeks later when I wanted the same style. This time the quality was good--clean parts and hair tucked! No issues with unraveling. I was also given a discount for booking online. Cynthia is a skilled braider and I will be back!
