Truly a custom home builder, Feicht Contracting built our home on the water in 2016. Inside and out, Feicht's team put extreme attention to detail in their materials and craftsmanship, and only brought in the finest subcontractors in the business. Needless to say, we love our home. Recently we chose New Life Builders to remodel our kitchen and they did a phenomenal job.We had our old 80’s style cabinets replaced, added granite countertops and a ceramic tile backsplash installed. The quality of the soft close cabinets make a world of difference and the ALL wood construction will last for years. From start to finish, New Life made the process very tolerable considering we had to endure the demo, installation, and final touches. The crew showed up each day on-time and made sure to clean up as they left each day. They were friendly and understanding of the fact we did not have a kitchen to use during the renovation. To help and make it easier on us, they made it a point to strategically time and plan each phase of our project accordingly. “We added a coffee bar to our kitchen on an unused wall. Challenged with the task of matching counters and cabinets with existing ones, Anthony helped me design one using a beautiful wood counter and floating shelves. It looked so purposeful and like it was already part of the house - it fit in seamlessly! The process was also smooth from the consultation and design program they used throughout installation. Communication was consistent and clear with all people on the project team. I was aware of payment deadlines and ordering statuses throughout. After install, there was a tiny issue with the custom wood counter and they came, checked it out and replaced it right away with care and professionalism. You may be able to find cheaper contractors out there but i trust the quality and professionalism of SoMD and would recommend them!“
