We were able to get an appointment quickly, especially for a specialty. All of the staff are very kind and work hard to accommodate her wheelchair use and limited mobility. Her doctor, Dr. Nelson, takes the time to listen to my grandmother’s concerns and to explain every diagnosis and procedure. He strikes a good balance between efficiency and great bedside manner. He was even able to consult with a retina specialist during her very first appointment since Dulaney Eye shares space with the National Retina Institute. Overall, I highly recommend Dulaney Eye Institute, especially for older adults who require extra care.“
