GBMC at Joppa Road - Internal & Family Medicine Physicians

had a wonderful experience in the pediatric ER. They have a child specialist who helps with making it easier and fun for the kids and my daughter loved it. The doctor were on top of it. I came in with 3 kids, 1 to be seen and I was out in 2.5 hours. I was just so impressed and thankful for the care!

Awful. I have been with GBMC Physicians Joppa Road for 18 years. The PA I had been seeing (which was initially because she had faster appointments than the actual physicians) and she is now leaving the practice. I was told when I called for an appt., that since the Nurse Practitioner is leaving, I have to go on a waiting list to get a new doctor as the other existing physicians "are not accepting new patients." I am not a new patient of the practice, unless these doctors started their own individual practices within the group. This is NOT a result of COVID. My experience on 4/20/2023 was one of the worst I've ever had with Dr. Elizabeth Hamilton. Appointment was scheduled for 12PM, so I arrived at 11:50AM. Completed check-in via my chart app to avoid having to fill out paperwork. At 12PM a man walks in with a box of food and a few minutes later a second man comes in and states he's with the first guy. 12:05PM I'm taken in the back to complete vitals and such, finished by 12:15PM. I sat in the room waiting to be seen by Dr. Hamilton. At approximately 12:20PM I hear her escorting a patient to the front office. Still sitting in the room, the lights went out (motion light).
