We had our heat go out on the week of thanksgiving. The first company we called condemned our furnace right away. Our friends recommended that we use pipco. We called and they came out the next day which was the day before thanksgiving. Vernon came to our door and put our minds to ease thinking we need to spend a lot of money on a furnace. Due to the work that needed to be done Vernon came out that Friday on his day off to work on our system. Not many employees will do that for their company and their customers. He left us on Friday with heat and warned us that we need one additional repair and I called that Monday morning to give them the ok to do it and they were out that afternoon to finish the repairs. Vernon was very great to deal with and explained everything. I can’t say enough good things about this company and will recommend them to everyone I know.
Pipco is a great company overall. Excellent service / technicians. Only issue that I have with them is 0 service on the weekend - not even a call back if you leave an emergency message. Our furnace died on a Friday night... Never responded to many calls over the weekend. They came on Mon to look at it... Had to be replaced (not a surprise, it was over 20 years old). Replaced on Friday, and stopped functioning on Sun AM... Once again, no response over the weekend... They did fix it on Mon... and again on Friday... It now works well. I really like the company, but don't expect anything over the weekends - not even a call that they got your message.
