Just moved to Towson, MD recently and my first time doing taxes here. Jackson Hewitt did an excellent job. I found their prices to be extremely fair. Honestly, easiest tax experience I have had at about 1/3rd of the price.

I got my taxes done here last week, and was charged an exorbitant amount! First, it was hard to get an estimate ahead of time about how much I might be charged. There base price is $159. They say they charge for extra forms, but they don't advertise how much. I did have some extra forms, but many of them just required 1-3 numbers to be added to the 1040 and added to other numbers. He asked me for over $600 for my taxes! When I showed exasperation, he immediately gave me a 30% discount but I still paid $470 dollars which should have been no more than $300.
