“This is a typical Chinese massage. They don’t usually have someone working at the front desk, so it’s on whoever is working to answer the phone, handle payment and do the work. She has someone else helping her who calls people back and adjusts the time if she’s off schedule. Also, she uses a translator app to communicate- so you have to pantomime that you want to talk - if you do. These are acceptable compromises for me to go to someone I can walk into same day.
