“I just moved to the area, and found on Google this nail spa literally 5 minutes from my house. I decided to go in without an appointment and see what happens. When I walked in - the workers were very polite, the place was super clean and the floors were spotless! I just needed a basic pedicure, and I was seated and worked on within 5 minutes of being there. My nail technician was very detailed and took her time. Not in a rush at all. I probably got my feet pampered for about 45 minutes. Scrubbing, cutting, cuticle clean up, filing, massaging, hot towels and nail polish application. I also picked regular nail polish with a design, and they didn’t NOT push for gel. Which was nice. A great experience. I will highly recommend and I will go back.“

Mesu herself is lovely. The cut I received is as well. She knew how to work with my wavy curls and random straight patches. “I received high-quality service and nails from Layhill Nails and Spa last week. I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment with the next available nail technician and was able to get a quick appointment in for an emergency nail fix. I was greeted by a nail technician named Phuong. She was dressed professionally and also was very professional in greeting and talking with me about what I wanted for my nail services for the day. I showed her pictures of nail inspiration for what I was looking for and she was able to help me pick a color that would match what I wanted. I have been to many nail places where they rush through the process of asking you the shape of your nails, and the color that you're looking for, so I greatly appreciate the time that Phuong took to meet with me to talk before getting into the appointment. The facility was clean, well organized, and nail technicians were communicating with their guests. Many of which I could tell there were fostered relationships between them (which shows quality of service!) Unfortunately, the last place that I got my nails done left my nails very damaged and thin. Phuong do some suggestions for a future appointment that may help to strengthen my nails as they grow out. Phuong took her time to prep my cuticles and shape my nails properly. The picture for this review was taken a week after the nails were first done. I look forward to coming back to Layhill Nails and Spa for a future appointment.“

“If you want to pamper yourself with top-notch quality nail care, then come to The Nail Lab in Wheaton. It is on Grandview where it runs into Veirs Mill Rd, and it is on the 2nd floor. I tend to get very friendly with my nail techs, but owners Long (sp?) and his wife, who did my pedicure, are some of the most personable people I’ve ever met. Do yourself a favor and come here the next time you need your nails done. Appointments are recommended.“

“I went into LeVa for a mani pedi. For manicure I got dip base and gel French tip. Khanh was so patient and helpful as I figured out which colors I wanted to use. Not only did she let me look at multiple shades, but she also helped guide me to a better color that I'm super happy with. She was so kind and easygoing. Of course, I'm also very happy with the quality. Can't recommend enough!“

“When I I say Lee did her big 1 with my ? I mean it. I drove from Charles County to Silver Spring to try this shop, and they did ??? disappoint. I called the shop that morning and they asked me to come in later that day. They started my service as soon as I arrived. The owner (Lee) did my nails. We didn't have much of a conversation, but she was 100% respectful and she made me feel at total ease, peace, and serene. I received a mani and pedi, and both services deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 star rating. “I chose Loveaux based on Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. Christina is personable, professional, and I enjoyed my pedicure. I brought a book along to read and she offered to play soft music in the background. Coffee shop vibes while getting a pedicure-it was great!“

“Bad experience, she talks about black children get assaulted by Uber and Lyft drivers in front AA people.<br><br>Eat food in pregnant customers faces, and walks behind customers to spray their hair. She put on face masks and insults customers to the point of harassment and intimidation by making customers cry about themselves.<br><br>Randomly name different prices to charge customers. When requested for the menu to confirm those prices, she stammers in a nonchalant manner.<br><br>If, one of the customers didn’t insist upon me investing her business and encouraged me to get my hair done by them because she said they’re actually good at their business. I would have taken my business elsewhere for a better service and price.<br><br>Furthermore, I heard one of the employees repeatedly state the N-word loud and clear to make sure that the non-Ethiopian people in the salon heard her. She called a pregnant woman fat and a man who was non-Ethiopian.<br><br>She calls AA dog face looking people and unattractive. Every time, there was an AA at the door she and the entire staff/Ethiopian customers stared at them, laughed like hyenas, and gossiped about them in Amharic (unprofessional, dangerous, and toxic environment).<br><br>Overall, I would discourage anyone who doesn’t support racist, misgender, hatred, and violence against people to avoid supporting this disgusting business.<br><br>DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PERSON BUSINESS!“

“It was my first time going to this nail salon. I had to wait for 10 minutes which is fine with me because I wasn't in a hurry. I felt welcome, nail tech were very gentle on my toes. I will say this, salon is kinda small & they don't use UV light dryer, they use mini fans to dry your nails which is healthier. If you are looking for a salon to get a pedicure/manicure for better price, this place is for you. To let you know, they don't do dip powder, sns and acrylic sets.“

“I happened to be nearby on a Monday when most salons are closed but these hard-working ladies are here every day according to posted hours, and "walk-ins are welcome." I'm not Dominican and have fine thin hair that I like to keep simple with a shoulder-length blunt cut and $60 seemed reasonable for DT Silver Spring (although I pay $40 in the suburbs). I was given a terrific massaging shampoo and condition but then after a short towel dry, my hair was clipped on top of my head and I was mysteriously placed under a dryer! That's a first! After 15 minutes I was about to liberate myself from the dryer when the stylist who arrived 15 minutes prior appeared and cut my hair. She did a good job although was too pushy about what length was best for me and left it a little longer than I would have liked. Still, all in all I'd return -- I'd just inquire if the stylist was here or when she'd be available lol.“
