“Best bang-for-the-buck. Trite, but absolutely true for Rob Politz. I've had the"pleasure" of installing roofs on houses myself, so I know what I want from a roofing company. After getting many bids for the job from small outfits to large companies, it became apparent that Rob Politz was the best choice. My decision was based on what Rob said his procedure would be, the fact that he was more than willing to make adjustments to the contract to suit me, and lastly, a very competitive price. One cannot base the choice on price alone, as the product may not even be worth that price. But after a lengthy and very comfortable conversation with Rob, I had no apprehension about using him for the job, as he was knowledgeable, articulate, and completely forthright. I didn't even detect a hint of a deceptive salesman. That was the beginning of a very good job to come.All of the contractors expected my roof to take several days to complete. Rob's crew started at 6:30 a.m. and finished that day at 6:30 p.m. I spent most of the day on the roof watching the progress, ensuring that what I knew should be occurring was actually happening. Installation was done carefully and correctly. Rob's men we're obviously not new at this. Shingles, sheet metal applications, and roof and plumbing vents were all installed perfectly. As I said earlier, I've done this and know how it should proceed and the expected result. I would like to have installed this roof, but at my age, it would be foolish and take forever.After the crew completed the roof, the cleanup was equally impressive and as important to me as the roof. All pieces of stray paper, shingles, and nails in the lawn were picked up. The men sifted through leaves on the ground, bushes, and repeatedly retraced their steps dragging magnets two feet wide looking for nails. The end result was there was no sign that the chaotic and debris strewn scene hours earlier had even existed. The roof looked great and so did the yard.Nice group too. Polite, respectful, and generally, just good guys.That's the story of my roof. I highly recommend Rob Politz. Use him and you will not regret it.“
