I went to Aisha’s Braiding Shop yesterday to get my hair braided and I was really excited considering the good things I’ve heard about their work. When I got there I asked for small boho braids thigh length (I provided the boho) and i was quoted 380 which isn’t a problem. The problem is when I sat down and my braided was complaining in French about my service not knowing I speak and understand French very fluently. Because I had long nails and lashes she assumed that I was American and couldn’t understand her. Today was my first time being in the shop. I arrived at around 9:35am and was told to have a seat n someone will be with u. I waited 10 minutes then someone told me to come to the back.
I walked all the way in the back corner just to wait another 10-15 minutes for someone to finish up with another client.
At 10:15 I officially sat down in the chair n the lady started my hair. I got large knotless braids and at 1:35 I was done….
Before they even was done with the service they asked for payment which I wasn’t use to but was fine. Then sadly as they was dipping my braids in the hot water, someone of the hot water... read full review

I also didn't read the reviews before I went in.
Braider heavy-handed. Check. I took Aleve before my hair was finished there in the salon and for five days after.
Uneven braid parts. Check. Big parts at the back/middle. Small parts in front.
Loud and noisy. Check. I had to play YouTube on my phone without an earpiece - at least, I could understand what I was listening to.
Will not return. Check. I don't need to take pain killers for five days because I got my hair braided. I gave two stars because braider did provide me with Aleve and said "sorry" a few times thereafter when... read full review
