Came here for the first time today and I absolutely loved it. I walked in and was sat down and started right away. They provided the hair I was out of there within four hours even with just one woman on my head. The shop is super clean. Everyone is very nice. The lady who did my hair was extremely gentle and was always checking in with me. She was also very receptive when I said that I would like things done a certain way. This is the best experience I’ve had in African shop so far and I have been to three within the DMV. This is a 45 minute drive for me, but I’ll make it every single time and the price was extremely reasonable!

I had an appointment for small knotless braids mid back on July 26th. My appointment was at 8am and my hair was done by 12pm. I am very satisfied with my service and love how my hair turned out. My braids are very neat and my hairline and the nape of my neck were not braided too tight. I will definitely come back for future hair braiding appointments.
African Hair Braiding by Hawa is my go to for braids. Hawa and her team create an inviting atmosphere that instantly make me feel comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality of work and the level of service provided. I’ve been to other braiding salons in the past, but Hawa’s is by far the best experience I’ve had. Highly recommend.
