“I would give them more than five stars if I could. I have used Magothy for more projects and upgrades in my home than I care to count! My circuit breaker box was not up to code and all the receptacles needed to be replaced when I moved in. They found a few areas that were clearly done as a DIY project and fixed those issues. I have also had light fixtures and attic fans replaced over the years. I tend to have a bit (a lot) of anxiety when it comes to electrical work in general and I feel completely safe in my home now. They are reliable and do high quality work and are extremely pleasant to work with. I have not had the best of luck finding good contractors in general, so when you find a good one, you hang on. If you ever need any kind of electrical work, I would not hesitate to call them.“

I actually got their information from another family member who had referred them to me and I’m glad I did. Brian came out to my house at the designated time, gave a real and very reasonable quote, and the crew did outstanding work. Sippel electric is a straightforward (no upselling insurance etc.) local Baltimore company that provides quality work at a good value. And they are easy to work-with, and their crews are down-to-earth, knowledgeable and polite; it’s understandable that they have been around for such a long time. Since then, I have had them do another small job at the house, as well as a large basement renovation project, and I most certainly will rely on Sippel for any electrical work in the future.“

“Requested a quote and owner personally talked to me. Described my issue and rather than installing 2 LED lights most recommended, the owner troubleshooted the problem and found it was a bad switch. He replaced the switch and all done within 5 minutes. Next I asked him if he could install a ceiling fan. He said yes and within 30 minutes he took down 2 ceiling fans and transferred one successfully to another room. Incredible value for the price I paid.“

“I called on a Sunday afternoon after my circuit breaker starting sparking and buzzing. The owner said he was on vacation but if he needed to, he would come out tomorrow. He told me it was an easy fix and then proceeded to walk me step by step through the process and I was able to fix it myself for $10. He didn’t get a penny from it and he was still willing to help while on vacation. Good dude“
