This is a no-fuss lamp repair in the belly of Rockville's warehouse/ industrial area. I took an old Italian-made lamp that suddenly stopped working. Took it to a hardware store that couldn't fix it. Contacted the company but they weren't very helpful except for sending an electrical diagram without any other explanations. We decided to try figuring it out but it was impossible. Gaby Silva, looked at it and in a second knew what was wrong. The lamp was ready in a couple of hours and came with a warranty: " if it stops working come back, I'll remember this!" The price? Not sure what the going rate is but it was definitely worth it!

My beautiful dining room chandelier looks and works better than when it was new. The price was very reasonable and the customer service exceptional. I most highly recommend RS Custom Lighting Repair.

To be clear, I did not hire Gaby Silva at RS Custom Lighting Repair to fix my lamp. He did it for free. My LED desk lamp had not worked properly for months with uncontrolled dimming and occasionally shutting off. It's a very expensive piece so it was well worth exploring ways to fix it. I brought the lamp to the shop. Plugged it in to the RS Custom Lighting Repair outlet and it worked like nothing was wrong. He suggested a cooling fan had collected dust and was sluggish as the cause. That's it. To be certain, he checked the light panel, transformer and power supply and he manipulated the moving arms just in case. Less than 20 minutes - I was out of there. Happy.... read full review
