I remain grateful to Dr. Norvell's patient, who referred me & my daughter, over 25 years ago! Dr. Norvell is an incredible physician, as well as being a highly intelligent person (outside his area of expertise,) that utilizes common sense. He also has an excellent bedside manner, listening to patients (including young children,) then explains the medical issue "in understandable terms" then reviews the solution, e.g. tests needed, ointments, etc. and what can be expected. I trust him implicitly! 2 examples of excellent care. (I have so many more examples.). My 8 yr old daughter had bothersome warts on her feet. Her pediatrician referred us to a children's podiatrist, where she endured painful minor surgery, but problem was solved. Months later she was practically hysterical, not wanting to show me her feet. Her issue had reoccurred, she agreed to see Doctor Norvell since she & Her sisters see him every year to check birthmarks (preventive.) He immediately saw how upset she was at the thought of him removing anything on her feet. He acknowledged her concern, he showed her his hands, only a magnifying instrument so he could see, not touch. He explained how warts are caused by a virus & are contagious, commonly reoccurring. Then he said, "Can we try an experiment" "Warts need air, how about u put duct tape over the warts (so they can't breathe?). A few weeks later, they fell off, no reoccurrence! 2. Norvell was the only Dr. to advise me of ALL side effects from my medicine (after breast cancer surgery.) He also caught skin cancer during one of his routine checkups & gave me the best referral & follow up! HE IS THE BEST!

Dr. Norvell is matter of fact, obviously well informed, very pleasant. He does not try to scare you with hypotheticals or talk you into any superfluous medications or procedures, but outlines your options in a factual and friendly manner. I've been here three or four times, also with my kids, we never had a long wait and even my super critical younger son liked the doctor and his manner very much.
