I am a longtime patient of Dr Janet Lin and my kids have also seen her. She is the best - super knowledgeable, personable, and detail oriented. She answers every question (and I usually have several!), and is extremely thorough. I never feel rushed. I always leave with a clear understanding of the treatment plan and next steps. I also want to give a general shout-out to the medical staff and administrative professionals at the Shady Grove Rd Office. They are very efficient and friendly.

Dr Lin is very nice and extremely perky but I'm not 100% sure she is really listening to the issues you are describing. A cheery upbeat response is not necessarily the right answer to a particularly serious issue that is troubling a patient, and could be perceived as minimizing the patient's feelings about the issue. I think Dr Lin should dial up the gravitas and dial back the perkiness a bit as she is otherwise a lovely person and competent doctor
