When my last tanning salon closed abruptly with no notice, I needed to find a new one. I wish I had found Sunrise sooner! Great variety of beds, always clean and the staff is absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Lindsey was awesome and made me feel so comfortable while getting my spray tan. My tan looks so natural and I will be glowing for my friend’s wedding now! Will definitely be back for my next occasion :)

Hoot Heating & Air is fantastic! Their team is not only professional but also incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Just started to visit here. Been three times now and will continue. The owner, Vickie, is very energetic and does a 10 minute cut. She is also very knowledgeable of people in the area, so, you can catch up on any new developments. This shop reminds me of barber shops of old. No appointments, just stop in and take your turn. One unique attribute is she starts 6:30 am. I don't recall any other place that started that early. I think this is local diamond I was fortunate to stumble into.

We are members from another state. We were near Rising Sun and hungry so decided to visit this Legion for first time. A little nervous because you don't know what kind of crowd you might run into when they recognize you as not one of the locals or regulars. Wow... From the reaction of barmaid to rest of the people that were in there you would have thought we were locals!! So friendly. We had a few drinks enjoyed tasty spaghetti lunch. Talks and laughs, Conversations about their monthly events. By the time we left there I told my hubby I liked that Legion better than our local one at home!!! Thank you Rising Sun for making our visit enjoyable and hospitable
What an amazing experience from start to finish! Stephanie is absolutely lovely!! She listened to what I wanted and also about my one stubborn spot and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. My hair looked the best it has in years and it is the best color job ever!!! While the salon is not around the corner from me, I will be making the trip to see her again for sure!!! She is as nice as she is talented and even followed up with a text to make sure I was happy with the job she had done. That was such an amazing personal touch! Buffy is fantastic! She always listens and shares her thoughts. My cut is always perfect. My color is Vibrant and great. The keratin treatments she recommended make my summer hair fun and never frizzy. She will not disappoint you.
These guys were GREAT! The job started and ended as promised. We had our entire walkway, border of our deck and a transition walkway to our pool all completed with pavers. We have used Driftwood multiple times over the years and their work is top notch. Will recommend their work to others. Ryan and team are awesome to work with and very professional.

Well, looks like I finally found my new hair place! We moved back into the area not too long ago, and after trying a few other places, I decided Hair n Things is my new hair spot. I went this morning and Kaitlyn cut my hair. I am so happy with the results! Also the girl that did my shampoo (I'm so sorry I don't remember her name), was such a sweetheart! This was my first experience planning funeral arrangements. Foards (Whitney Madison and Millie) made the experience and process so much easier and less stressful than anticipated. When all said and done everything fell right into place beautifully. They did a fantastic job with my mother and the extra touches they provided made it even more personal to the occasion. After going to many different salons throughout northeast, rising sun and Elkton, trying to find a place I really liked, I found Stephen’s! This place is awesome, they get my hair done quickly yet carefully every time, never ridicule me for what I want nor try to talk me out of it, as some places I’ve been to before did. In fact everyone there is so so friendly, and the place itself is so homey and cozy. Every time I go in for an appointment they not only cut my hair but style it as well and give me tips on how to style it myself (which is much needed as Ive never known how lol) I’ve got relatively short-ish layered hair and bangs, so I need haircuts somewhat often, and at Stephen’s I’m able to plan my next appointment right after getting my hair freshly done. Even before I was a returning customer, though, they had gotten me in so soon despite me just calling in. I absolutely love this place, and I now know I won’t be looking for a new haircut place anytime soon :)
