“I was visiting from out of town and was driving all over looking for an open hair cutting place for my two boys. We stopped by several places and was refused service. The Hair Den was our last stop! They took us in and treated us like family the vide was amazing. They put cartoons on for my kids and let me tell you... MY TWO blonde hair blue eye boys GOT THE BEST HAIRCUT EVER! we have been trying different places and kids haircut specialists cause everyone keeps messing it up cutting it uneven. And I need to fix at home. Our whole family was sooo impressed and my husband who's super critical of haircuts LOVED THEM haircuts!!! We might now be driving into Baltimore more regularly from NJ just get the best haircuts ever!!! THANK YOU!!!!“

Since I've been growing my hair (man bun style and getting it corn rowed etc.. I go to them to really wash it good and blow dry it before I get braided up again! “This was my third and last visit. I am sorry my masseuse because all the visitsc the massage was perfection, especially this last time! Heavenly, she ven did a scalp massage that left my follicles tingling. I just can't deal with the elderly racist white women at the front desk, who are overly polite and think they can say anything they want to you as long as they smile, and use their "Southern Charm." I let the past remarks pass, once asking a question about payment as if I might not be able to afford it. But this last time took the cake: "Honey wouldn't it be nice if you tipped the girls who served you?" This was before I had even given her my credit card to pay, so it wasn't like I handed back a receipt with no tip on it! I gave her my credit card and said, I've already tipped in cash, thank you, which at that moment I was so glad I had had the foresight to do! How dare you question the class, propriety, generousity of Mattie, Selma , Pops, Dad & Mom (and a host of accomplished Aunts and Uncles) and thier stellar upbringing that she obvioisky would have benefitted greatly from receiving! Apparently for certain ppl a highly melaninated automatically means poverty, as wrong as that is, and probably crime too, so NOPE, I don't have to so I won't. I will try the one in Timonium next time and hope the masseuses I love so much have magically migrated to that location!“
