61 Mellor Ave, Catonsville“Our Rottweiler severely injured her 'knee' and required replacement surgery (I forget what it is really called). After much searching, we were fortunate to find Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services. Our experience with Dr. Walesby was excellent. She is highly skilled and talented, she genuinely cares about outcomes & personally responded to our questions and concerns!
The clinic itself is open and welcoming, and the staff were consistently kind, professional, and reassuring. The surgery went perfectly, and the results have been truly amazing. Our pup is back up and running as if nothing ever happened!
We also greatly appreciated the 'all-inclusive' pricing, which covered the surgery, all medications, the collar, and multiple follow-up appointments. We are extremely grateful for the care our dog received and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of surgical care for their pet.“

6801 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore“Hillendale Animal Hospital and Dr. Ramappa were the veterinary center for our Basset Hound, Nigel, when we got him and we continued to take him there once he was in our care. Nigel always got first-rate, loving care, especially when the time came to say good-bye to him. We don’t have a SINGLE negative thing to say about this office! The staff at the front desk, the vet techs, and - of course - Dr. Ramappa, are nothing short of phenomenal! The entire staff is so caring and compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and so accommodating. We trust them implicitly!!“

32 Mellor Ave # C, Catonsville“We had an incredibly positive experience at Thrive Animal Hospital during a very stressful and emotional time for our family. Our beloved cat, Buster, was in significant pain, and getting him into his crate was heartbreaking and difficult.
Nurse Cara was a tremendous support both over the phone and in person. When we were struggling to get Buster safely into his crate because of his unrelenting pain, she was calm, reassuring, and compassionate. During the visit, her kindness toward Buster and toward us meant more than we can say.
Dr. Daniel was exceptionally thorough in his work up and communication. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions with patience, and approached Buster’s care with real empathy and thoughtfulness. We felt heard, supported, and confident in the plan he created for us.
Even the front desk staff went above and beyond. One team member kindly lent me her phone charger when my battery was dying, which was such a small but meaningful act during a hard day.
We left with a clear plan and medications to help keep Buster comfortable, and most importantly, we left feeling cared for. We are so grateful to this team for their skill, compassion, and humanity.“

1705 Bank St, Baltimore“I brought in my family dog because it seemed like it was her time. She was 15. And all I can say is that once again Dr. Vaughan was so amazing! She may have put it down but that doesn’t mean she didn’t show any less care or love. I appreciate everything she did as my sister and I were in there crying and wishing it wasn’t the time to say goodbye. She walked us through the process and made sure to make sure we were ready. She was so honest and professional through the whole experience. And the tech Ari was also so freaking amazing. I actually switched my own pets to this vet because of Ari and Dr. Vaughan. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for the care of any of my pets.“

1601 Light St, Baltimore“We’ve taken all our dogs to Dr. T at Light street animal hospital since we moved here 5 years ago. We’ve adopted two senior pitties in the past who have had various health issues and Dr. T has always been open and honest about their prognosis and quality of life. Dr. T is very kind and compassionate and you can tell he truly loves being a vet. The staff is also very kind and our dogs love them. We have a feisty dachshund mix who can be fearful, but the staff and Dr. T are very good with him. When we had to make the last minute decision to euthanize our dog, they made time for us at the end of the day and gave us all the time we needed. Peaches, Phoebe, Fred and Penny say thank you!“

Many times, there is a waiting list to come on board. Her patients come from near & far & stick with her even if they move a distance!

She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding of the budget concerns and was able to work with me to provide care for my dog. Her love for animals truly shines bright. And because of her compassion and understanding and willingness to allow me to do my part, Bane was able to make a full recovery for the most part. He will have scars but they do not stop him from running around the yard barking, snuggling with his family.“

32-A Mellor Ave, Catonsville“We have a senior kitty Logan we took in from a shelter a few years ago at the age of 12 or 13. The vet was quick to diagnose him with hyperthyroidism and we discussed I-131 or meds. The two vets we went to agreed that meds if tolerated work just as well as the treatment. Taking that advise we just tried the meds and had some success until late in 2024 when they were becoming more troublesome and Logan's symptoms were getting worse. I called RadioCat and spoke with Kayris the coordinator for the Phoenix location. Kayris was wonderful, the process incredibly simple and they kept in touch with our regular vet. Logan had his treatment about 30 days ago and we go back for bloodwork in a few days, however, I'm confident the results will be positive news from the changes we have witnessed in Logan. I am eternally thankful for RadioCat and their coordination, even our vet who use to work at a animal hospital that offered this service directly was impressed! It is important to understand, this treatment has a HIGH rate of success and few side affects, however, it doesn't come with zero risk and guaranteed reward. It is trial and error like many medical treatments.“
