My dog was given a quick appointment as she was rather sick and from the phone call with the receptionist to meeting the vet tech and meeting with the doctor we literally had the best vet visit. Everyone was so kind, helpful, loving to my dog, empathetic towards our dogs illness and overly sweet to my dog. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.“

“We transferred from another local vet with whom we didn't feel comfortable. Dr. Cannon was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and very supportive. We ended up deciding to put our kitty out of her misery 2 weeks after the initial visit. Dr. Cannon displayed the same understanding of what we were going through, and let us be there during the procedure. We will be returning when we need veterinary care in the future.“

“We take our dog weekly for laser treatments to Loving Pet Care. We also take our cats on an "as needed" basis. Dr. Bishop is very knowledgeable and personable. When he is available, he checks in on our dog to see how he is doing. The treatment itself is administered, most of the time, by the technician who runs the desk. She does it all (at least on Saturdays). She checks people out, schedules appointments, gives laser treatments and clips nails. Every once in a while this can cause delays, like that one week where the lady was giving her pet's life story and running through her entire month schedule while trying to set up a follow up appointment. The line got three deep that time. That was an exception. The majority of the time we are in and out with our scheduled appointment. Overall, prices are reasonable and Dr. Bishop and his staff are personable and total animal people. That's exactly what I want from a veterinarian.“

“It’s always nerve wracking choosing the right vet, so I feel very lucky that I found Doc Side when I moved to the city. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them and am continually grateful for the care and support they show my precious pets. I’ve been to Doc Side for all sorts of things now— check ups, illnesses, an emergency visit, even anal gland expression on a cat (yikes!). They have always handled our appointments with grace, patience, creativity, and compassion.

I will admit they are a tad pricier than some other options, but not by much, and you get what you pay for. There have been a few times where I’ve called for guidance which they provided on the phone without urging me to come in for appointment. They have also matched a competitor’s medication price for me.

We’ve seen Dr. Tierney, Dr. Coughlin, and Dr. Peterson and have always been impressed by their quality of care. Additionally, the vet techs and support staff have consistently been phenomenal. I get anxiety over my cat’s health, and the staff do just as much for me as they do for them! You are in excellent hands with DocSide.“

“I enjoy this vet. They are very convenient and I'm always able to schedule an appt! I really appreciate the vet staff, I'm unsure of their names but Alex and her Male colleague are always very friendly and do a great job answering our questions. I have only taken my dog to this vet for minor things, and have not met the actual vet yet, however, if my dog were to need a major appointment I would feel more comfortable meeting the veterinarian himself, even though the techs are great at explaining what is going on! Deff recommend taking your pet here! It's also always clean which is a plus!“

“This is a great place for dog check-ups, though it can get expensive. The doctor's check-up fee is around $65. Appointments can take up to two weeks of waiting. For emergency check-ups, there is an additional fee. The doctors are all very nice, and the technicians are friendly. My dog doesn't like going to the doctor (just like humans), but we go when we need to.“
