Perry Point VA Medical Center - VA Maryland Health Care System

VINDICTIVE!!! The food & location are tops, but a foreigner nurse called VA Police on me because she "thought" she smelled marjuana coming from my room ( a lie because I had none). Subsequently, WITHOUT ME BEING THERE, the same nurse conducted a " health & welfare search"; my new Bluetooth ear buds came up missing! Eventhough I made no OFFICIAL complaint, I did mention it to a supervisor, who responded with disbelief/ denial.Next time I needed rehab after surgery, they refused to accept me and I was forced to go to a homeless facility in Baltimore , because I was from out of state.Bottom line: if you go there, keep hold of your valuables &... read full review

Relocated here from Great Lakes, IL in 2023, (Retired US Marine) Visited Perry Point VA on two occasions for a medical and a dental exam. Both procedures were performed in an outstanding manner! All personnel encountered from the security guards to my health care provider were absolutely wonderful! The facility is nice, clean and the location with all the scenery is spectacular! Keep up the outstanding work and Semper Fi!

Just wanted to give some insight to the VA. I have had zero assistance when it comes to solving problems I’m having. Every time I call to speak with someone I get sent to another number or another extension and it’s never ending. I call the extension I’m told to call this number and then the person says they can’t help me and quite honestly don’t seem to compassionate. Also I filed for my post 911 benefits it’s been two months never received my paperwork or any type of communication and missed my deadline to return to college.
