“Recently had LKC install a new roof on my townhouse in the Summit Chase neighborhood of Piney Orchard. Also had them completely rebuild the deck as many of the joists were rotting and two actually collapsed! They did an outstanding job on both projects, all work was performed exactly per the contract. They used the best GAF HD energy star shingles and sent pictures of the roofing work which was a nice plus. They also replaced all gutters and downspouts since the old ones on many houses were pulling away from the roof as they were not installed properly. I had to pay someone to bang in the gutter spikes every few years. New gutters look awesome! LKC's attention to detail is top notch. Craig kept in constant communication on status of projects. Crew also did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend LKC for your roof or deck project.“

I could not be happier with the work Brown’s Custom Contracting did within my home.Detailed Summary of My Experience: I contacted Jim initially just to get an estimate for finishing my basement, which was in a state that needed major work because the walls were made of cinderblock and the floors were complete concrete; it was a space that was probably best used for storage and I would not call it “comfortably livable.”Jim arrived quickly for an estimate and helped me explore the possibilities of the space, even going so far as to note what would be difficult or expensive to pull off. Within days he provided an estimate for the job, which I found out during the process was a major ordeal involving many phases and individuals, so I’m impressed he was able to produce a price so quickly (and in the end it was an accurate price).I signed Jim up for the job because of his straightforward and pleasant attitude.In the weeks and months that followed (this was a major job, I want to note), Jim gave me frequent updates about what workers I could expect to come by and when/how-long they would be there. Every person who came onto the property was skilled and good about communicating what they would be working on, especially when they had questions about the possibilities of the space.Jim also handled all of the work involving the permits and he worked with the county to ensure everything was up to code. He also alerted me any time there was a change in plans or if there was a possibility of delay. Given how involved this basement-finish job was, there were plenty of opportunities for major hurdles, but the project was still completed in a timely manner, and it was always clear to me what was going on, what would happen next, etc.The final product is everything I could’ve wanted. Jim made efficient use of the space to make as much of it “comfortably livable” as possible. Even the water heater and HVAC unit were relocated with no diminishment in functionality just for the sake of making the basement as good as it could possibly be. I’m very pleased with the additional space my family has been given, and there isn’t a single rough edge in the room. “My wife and I own a family medicine office out of our home in Williamsport MD. We chose Reliable Contractors because of a recommendation from our neighbor. They have done multiple roofs in our area, all with outstanding reviews. One of my concerns was patience, coming in and out of the office with men on the roof and possible debris falling from the roof. I was assured that that wouldn’t be a problem and it wasn’t. They taped off the areas that they needed to and very little debris was dropped in those two areas. Their price was more reasonable than other prices that we got. They worked quickly and put in extra hours to get us done in less than three days. I could not be more pleased with the outcome of their job. I inspected the corners, the lines, the edges, etc. The craftsmanship was top-notch. There were no gaps or irregularities in the roof, soffit and facia or the gutters and downspouts. Everything as far as I was concerned was perfect.“
