Everyone was very professional, not to mention pleasant & friendly. I did not feel nervous or rushed. The Optometrist was also very professional & friendly too. These folks obviously work very well together - great attitude, nice to be around. I would highly recommend them if you are in need of an eye exam or glasses.

I have had a great experience at BJ's Optical due, largely, to the manager, Annese Waddy. She has adjusted my glasses several times and was always done so in a friendly, competent and professional manner. She is a consummate professional and I have been the beneficiary of that professionalism. And for that I am very grateful; and, I will continue to go to BJ's Optical so long as Annese is there. Dr. Shao is amazing. I've been going to Him since I was in 4th Grade (when he was at 4 eyes). I've followed him all over the county throughout the years. I have terrible eyes and it's a concern for me. He's always encouraging and reassuring me that all is well. In all my years I've only ever gone to one other eye doctor while I was pregnant (to save $ on glasses because they accepted my insurance). This doctor left me with a complex when he said I had eyes as bad as one of his assistants (they were joking but still). I made the decision to pay out of pocket and go back to his practice. I've absolutely never willingly went somewhere that I know will cost me more; that speaks to how much I like him as a doctor. My whole family (parents & siblings who are grown and married with kids of their own) all still use him. He moved from Costco specifically to save his customers money when they raised the prices on him. He genuinely cares about his patients and you can tell. I've never had issues with long waits & you can go there even if you don't have a BJ's membership (I don't personally have one). You just tell them at the door your there for an eye appointment!
