We've visited this location a half dozen times. It's conveniently located, clean and spacious, and the staff is friendly and professional. That said, our visit last week will likely be our last. When we got there, there was no one in the waiting area. We were taken right back to an exam room. That area was also deserted. We were told there was one other patient before us, and we could hear the doctor meeting with them in the exam room next door. So far, so good. We only needed a doc to listen to my 7 year old's chest, and take a look at his ears. He'd had a cold, and w a lingering cough, we were concerned about bronchitis or an ear infection. Quick and easy. Then the wait began. 30 mins after the doc had finished w the only other patient in the building, she finally appeared to take a look at my kid. Her manner was friendly and professional, but nobody has time to sit around and wait like that, especially when a location is the opposite of busy. A visit that should have taken 20 mins, took 50. Sadly, this has been our experience at this location over all our visits. This one will be our last, and we'll be spreading word with friends and other families about their unacceptable wait times. Avoid, if you have alternatives available.

Cash price only for rapid COVID tests not indicated online when booking. Our insurance covers them but was told company policy not to bill them anymore. Also, receptionist did the scammy thing of telling us they were wanting approval to put our card on file for "our copay" without disclosing they get to bill for whatever they chose. Especially scammy when they don't disclose at the time of making appointment that they only collect cash price for rapid covid tests.

I strongly encourage anyone with a child in their life seeking urgent care to consider this new location of services. A few of my initial observations: * It's clean because it's brand new * Child friendly environment and decor, set my child at ease for the visit * Kind and courteous staff throughout the visit * We were seen IMMEDIATELY...nobody knows about this gem in Carney/Parkville so we were tended to quickly at 6:45 pm on a Tuesday * The nurse and doctor were vigilant in following covid protocols and they had AMAZING bed side manner which is hard to come by these days * CVS and Walgreens are across the street for RX needs. I'll return if either of my children need urgent care. I encourage you to check this small town community vibe facility out if the need arises for you. We want to keep places like this in our neighborhood!!

From PM Pediatric Urgent Care

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injuries.
