I really enjoy coming to this barbershop. I’ve been coming here for years now. My go to barber is Franc but any one barber does good work. Everyone takes pride in their cuts, you can tell they take their time and see the value in the customer’s experience. Price’s are great and the best part this shop gives me that NY barber feel. Coming from NY this place is like home!
Had a wonderful first experience at Visions Braid Bar. I did a lot of research and reviews before trying this place and I'm glad I did because the girlies weren't lying, this place is wonderful. I got large knotless braids in under 3 hours (not including the wash and dry which was about 45 minutes). Binta, the owner, did a thorough consultation of exactly what I wanted and we came up with a plan with the stylist, Vicky. My braids exceeded expectations. I'll for sure be back! And I was hesitant because my last few braiding experiences in DC have been okay, but I ended up redoing a bunch of braids because they didn't look how I hoped--that will not be the case here. My Vision braids frame my face exactly how I hoped, aren't heavy, and look wonderful.

This is my second visit to Miss Claudine's and again she's done a great job on my Senegalese twists. she's very attentive and fast but accurate in her work. I’ve always struggled with finding a nail salon ever since I moved out here. It was a happy accident when I walked into the nail shop. I started going to Anh and she is absolutely amazing!!!! She accommodates the style to the best of her ability which she is very talented and my nails last over a month! I always get a pedicure with gel polish and an Acrylic overlay of my natural nails. This is the only place I have been to out here that does that! My natural real nails have flourished and last over a month and Anh is always so patient with me and does the best work I’ve had since I moved out here ! (I have even brought my boyfriend here for a first time pedicure for him and he was really happy with Anh’s work!!! Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures due to my new phone, it’s all in my old phone. But I have an appointment today so I’ll upload and update!!!)

Makiyah is outstanding! I found Luxgenics a year ago after being disappointed with the quality and services offered at other nail salons. The customer service here is top notch! Makiyah is always a ray of sunshine and she is passionate about nail care. I have always left feeling beyond pleased with her services. I cannot recommend her enough. You will not regret giving her a try. For awareness, I believe she only offers gel nail services, but please check with her before deciding not to support based on that information.
Kyle is THE BEST!!!! I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and they never disappoint. Kyle knows exactly what I want; I never have to tell him what to do. TiTi is good as well. I go to her when Kyle is off. Haven’t found a salon like them I’m very satisfied!

9yrs I always find myself back here with Julie that's the owner's name. She is very nice and the best around here when it comes to the eyelashes but I do get my nails done as well never had a problem always liked my service.
My mom an I come to this nail salon every two weeks it was hard finding a nail place that care about your nails and actually do a good job! It’s sanitary everyone is nice & the nail techs are very nurturing! We literally drive 45 minutes just to come here and we don’t plan on changing. I suggested that they make a social media so they can show they skills they also do waxes & henna eyebrows! Love it here? tech at seat 2 & 7 are the bomb! Keep it up ladies…
Although I have never had a salon service here yet, this Shop is Gorgeous❗️I did get a chance to briefly chat with some of the employees too, and they all seemed very nice. I hope to be able to visit here again soon for services. Please Note: This Shop shares the same building as Millhouse and Sons Barbershop.

My hair was styled by Joyce. The true Diva of Boho.. The Shop appearance is clean and the bathroom is clean and spacious shop. Belle and Joyce have a great work and their customer service is excellent. I got Medium Boho knotless with lots of curly hair. I paid a great price and I got exactly what I wanted. They are very nice and reasonable. Pick up the phone and book with them. The service took 3.5 kid you not. Their parts are straight and they braid fast. Ohh did I mention they open early. My appointment was at 9am I was out the door dipped, moussed, shined up and gone with the wind fabulous out the door at 12:40. Also, keep in mind the bad reviews were from the previous shop owner Simona's this is new. Try them out..

I waited to do this review to see how my nails would hold up. Next time I go, I will have to take photos after service though because this was the absolute best regular polish manicure and pedicure I have ever received in the DMV.
Unlike other "luxury" nail spas in the area, the regular polish here is durable and lasting. 10 days after my service and I am in awe of how my polish has not chipped or cracked. They were so neatly done, so clean, so perfect. Reasinably priced and done it great time (I had 3 services done). And the personal service by Nih was a bonus to it all.

Excellent diagnosis of plumbing issues. Very honest and forthright. Excellent pricing. Very courteous and professional. I may have had 8 plumbers look at complicated plumbing issue with galvanized radiator pipes in cramped hard to access space in my ceiling over the last 2 months. Unlike the others, Tony didn't price gouge me or over sell what the issue is. He found the issue and fixed that. He also was great at addressing my water heater. Very knowledgeable plumber!
