“The staff is pleasant, they have a good selection of classes, and the website is regularly updated so you know what’s going on with your favorite instructors. I have to rate it 4/5 because some of the equipment is kind of old and rundown. Most of the handles on the cable machines are frayed and a few machines are visibly rusty.“
“Worked with Bethany Dennis pre and post op. I felt comfortable with her from the first meeting. I always felt she was extremely knowledgeable, and I always left feeling better than when I went in. She gave me exercises I could do at home and was very patient explaining them to me. I would highly recommend Megan Rich and Bethany.“
“This is such a great place. I had some initial trouble with my account and Melody was so amazing personally contacting me and helping me sort everything out. I take the community class. It's a great mix of gentle, deep stretching, and a nice little workout that lasts me the week. Great environment of people and community.“
“I love this yoga studio. Melissa is a wonderful teacher. She starts every session with an uplifting message of inspiration, which I find is a nice way to begin. Each person gets individual attention and I found it an easy way to start yoga again or it would be a great fit for anyone just trying yoga for the first time. There are many options for spiritual and physical growth. I love it here and highly recommend this studio!“
“Great experience and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the class Power Vinyasa with Marley Keller both Monday evening sessions. Challenging but mixed with period of calming and meditation.“
“Very calming and relaxing practice. LOVE the inviting scent! Corlissa Little the best! She is very a accommodating and thorough with her massages. I would high recommend her for your massage therapy needs!“
“This was the BEST yoga place in town, but now its closed :( If anyone out there has information on where I can find other classes taught by Rachel, the Vinyasa Power Flow instructor on Tuesday nights, please comment here or yelp message me. Thank you!“
“Dennis was someone I discovered here in Maryland. With constant struggle to find someone who not only had good massage techniques but also solid foundation on anatomy, I felt that I was under a professional's care. I've been dealing w/ chronic lower back issues since 2013 and I'm encouraged to continue sessions with him. He'll try his best to remedy your problems and his suggestions go beyond a massage table and into improving your discomfort through techniques outside of his direct care. I'm certain if you grab a session w Dennis, you'll realize you've made the right choice. I cannot stress the level of knowledge and care he offers.“
“I am not a member, but they were very nice to some of our runners in need of a bathroom. They were working out. It looked like a lot of fun.“
“I had my first massage today. What a fantastic experience! Many thanks to Corrine, the Studio Manager, who guided me through both the initial process and the beautiful studio. This place is truly a hidden gem; quiet, serene, tranquil and tastefully decorated with local artwork. Super clean and modern, you could spend days here enjoying all of the different therapy methods. And a special thanks to Karen, my therapist. After a quick discussion about “what ailed me”, she not only diagnosed it perfectly but took most of my pain away in just one session. I’ll definitely be back for follow-ups; they now have a customer for life!
I was also able to meet Stacey and Bob. In just a few moments I could tell that this was their passion, and it felt like I was visiting a big happy family. I highly recommend Truth Mind & Body to anyone who just wants to feel better-they’ll make it happen ?“
“I had a lovely class today with Maryam! She was an excellent instructor and highly trained with lots of experience. She was super patient and provided recommendations for adjustments. The studio was really beautiful. I’m so glad I gave Yoga Revelation another chance as I didn’t love the Columbia studio location due to the ambiance of the studio. However, once you get past the ambiance of the Columbia location you’ll notice all of the teachers are rather good but Maryam was “exceptional”.I’m just beginning my practice and I really appreciate it when teachers acknowledge everyone and are inclusive of everyone’s journeys. This is what made this class truly beautiful for me today as some studios just focus on those who are members or regulars. Some studios have a feeling that not everyone belongs but here I felt very welcome!“
“Another Update: Thrilled I found this place before it opened. They encourage you to practice where your mind and body are at that moment. Approaching 500 classes and looking forward to 500 plus more. Recommend very highly.Update: Still LOVE this place. New teachers are wonderful. Highly recommend.Love this place! Teachers are excellent and the staff is amazing. Everyone is responsive and helpful. I joined before they were finished painting the walls and still enjoy attending classes. The atmosphere is encouraging and relaxed. Like the variety of levels and that there are many modifications to make a basic class harder or a harder move easier.Recommend very highly.“
“My home studio is Owings Mills. Lat Wednesday morning I had a new instructor for my Center and Balance class. Her name is Marissa. Marissa had only taught 5 classes at that point so she was really a "newbie". Well, she was terrific. You would have thought that she had been teaching forever. I enjoyed it so much that I went back this week. You all have a winner with Marissa. Dottie Keslinger“
