I've been attending this Kung Fu and Tai Chi academy since 2016. I found that it not only helped my flexibility, but I've been able to achieve things I never even thought I would do -- like go to a World Tournament and win!But I never started with that goal in mind. I just thought I'd come in to do Tai Ji Quan (Tai Chi), so it was really cool that the instructors push you to try things by giving you an opportunity to try and fail in a safe space. What that really does is also help build your character, and can help you in everyday life and your work by knowing that you can try and fail, still be OK, try again, and eventually succeed. As a parent, I can not recommend this establishment highly enough. As a student, I find the lessons invaluable. As a member of the Kung fu family, I feel connected. As a kid I always wanted to learn martial arts. Instead my parents put me in dance. I quite literally was the WORST dancer. Two left feet that didn't function, awful rhythm, you name it. I always wanted to be able to defend myself if I needed to. This was not something my parents thought was important. I knew I wanted to change that for my own kids.
