I arrived early to a graveside funeral for a friend and got a chance to talk with the mortician for a little while. I forgot his name but he’s a very nice man and I felt confident that he took good care of everything. The grounds are very pleasant as well.

My father passed away and we chose to burry him here. I am writing this review to help people during this difficult, painful time, to get some help. When a loved one passes, your brain just stops working and you find yourself useless in every way. Norbeck helped us through every single detail of the process. The director there, Amanda, spent so much time with us, listening to our needs and giving us the most helpful advice, not just for the arrangements, but for our personal lives as well. She went through everything step by step and was very accommodating to our needs. We also ended up using their chapel which was very nice and spacious. There is a separate room for the family to go into for some privacy and it even has its own bathroom and water. I thought for sure we would run out of tissues but they provided us with unlimited tissues (I know silly but very convenient). They also provided water at the burial site which was really nice on a 98 degree day. We were able to create slide shows to play in the chapel and the sound system was great! I was so surprised at the level of professionalism and kindness meanwhile really connecting with the family and helping us through the hardest thing we have ever gone through. Since the burial, we have visited consistently and the lawn has been kept very well and tidy. The deer like to eat the flowers you take and leave the stems but the people there clean it up. Overall this was the best possible outcome during the worst possible time and I am grateful we got to meet Amanda and have her by our side during this time.
