“I was so stressed after the rains we were having at the beginning of the year. I was noticing brown spots on my bedroom ceiling, as well as around the skylight in the bathroom. I already knew that was an indication of a water leak somewhere, and if not taken care of could lead to bigger issues. After research on Nextdoor app, I ran across this Harriss Roofing. I gave them a call and explained my issue. The women receptionist /office manager was super helpful with walking me through the process of what to expect being a first time homebuyer and this being my first major repair on my home. OMG I cannot be happier with the service that Harriss & Co., LLC provided. They came out Jan 26, 2024 to give me and roof estimate for roof repairs and re-coating of upper main and lower front porch roof. Mr. Harriss came out and took pictures of my roof and told me all of the issues with the roof. He gave an estimate with and without the replacement of the bathroom skylight. The price was very affordable and better then the 1st estimate I received. The repair took 1 day , he brought a 4 man crew started at 8am, entire roof was completed before 1pm. After the work was completed i got roof before and after photos. You can clearly see based off the pictures why I was having leaks. Im very pleased with the after results and the professional service i recieved with this company, highly recommend service.“

“SNAP installed a new roof on my home this past October. I interviewed several other local roofers and found SNAP to be the best fit for me. The owner, Stephen, was the only roofer I spoke with who spoke to me as a person, answering any questions and concerns I had before, during and after the process (involving more than aesthetics of course). I'm upset I have to say this in this day and age, but as a female he also didn't talk to me as though I'd only care about aesthetics or assume/inquire about a husband before/during discussions. “Third time I've used CRI and cannot recommend them enough. First time, they did some work on the roof. Second time they fixed some loose aluminum siding and this time they installed new gutters on the whole house, downspouts in new locations, kick outs and splash guards. Each time they have done an amazing job and I will be doing business with them again (I already have the next projects picked out). For the gutter install, Joe came out and walked the property and gave me suggestions for the locations of new downspouts (the new drain pipes were installed by a local landscaping company). Melissa, in the office, was able to schedule the job quickly and Jose and his assistant were on site 45 minutes EARLY (this, by the way, has happened every time CRI has come to the house for a morning job). Jose gave me an estimate for how long the job would take and he finished ahead of schedule. He cleaned up everything and then walked the property with a giant magnet to pick up any loose screws (I still double checked the driveway and patio with my own giant magnet because I've punctured too many tires after running over the screw that got away...).

“I recently worked with Michael, the owner, to start the first of many projects together. I was seeking a company that could do all phases, starting with replacing 9ft windows. Michael came out to the home to assess the project. He was very honest about what they could and could not do. His pricing was very affordable. On the second visit, Michael brought the manufacturer to my home to assess the custom windows I would need. Both gentlemen were very down to earth and gave me customer assurance in the quality of the work and assured me that they could meet my timeframe for installation. “Long Story Short: The experience from beginning w/ estimate, to the end of project, was a stellar experience! Will be my first call for future siding work.

Long Story Long: I needed trim replaced due to rot, and every company (5) would only give me an estimate for an entire trim/siding replacement (w/out paint included!). Jerry's didn't know this, yet told me the siding was perfectly fine and I just needed the trim replaced. Check.

They scheduled the project and showed up to complete even though I was out of town, which I appreciated. Cleaned up the work site and only minimal garden damage occurred which is impressive with a 3-story situation. Check Check.

When I reviewed the work, lines were clean, caulking around windows spot-on, AND they painted the trim?! Mind you, 5 companies told me this wasn't included, and Jerry's just did it without mentioning AND their estimate was significantly more affordable than every other estimate. Check mate.

I moved here from rural areas where contractors/home services valued their work and gave common-sense pricing, and have struggled to find that in companies in the DMV area. Jerry's is 1 of 2 companies I've found here that reflects those principles. Great job. They will be my first call when that siding needs a change ;)“
