Tom is by far the best artist hands down. He was super professional, easy to communicate and plan with, and made my idea, specific details and the designs I wanted come to life. The studio was very clean, cool, comfortable, easy to get to, and the pricing was fair. Even though some areas hurt way more than I anticipated or remembered from my first two tatts, Tom was really kind and patient with me and helped me get through it. “For my first time ever getting a tattoo, this shop really solidified the experience for me. I called the shop soon after they opened & after hearing that they take walk ins, I sent my inspiration photos, calmed myself (because my nervous excitement was very real I found myself on the cobblestone streets where Saints & Sinners is. Dwaine greeted me & gave me a concise rundown of the process. Upon hearing it was my first time, he was very warm and reassured me that I was in good hands. Waited while my design was drawn up by Dave (who is also the resident landscaper) & took in all the inspiration on the walls. There were frames and books a-plenty. About 10 minutes later, Dave tells me to come upstairs - it's getting real now! From the time he laid the stencil down to the last swipe took all of a solid 20 minutes; I hadn't even got to the juicy part of the podcast I was listening to. After my tears (happy & bittersweet ones for personal reasons) and my payment, I left the shop with my tattoo wrapped well & with stickers, pins and lollipops in my aftercare kit. Sweet. All in all, this was easily the best hour of my day & I can't wait to see how well it will heal. You have a customer in me, Dave - thank you so much.“

“Went here not sure what to expect but left feeling wonderful with my experience! I recently visited this store after having 3 piercings all done at different places because I’ve never had a great experience anywhere. But here, it was great and the piercing process for my helix only took less than 10 minutes including figuring out jewelry, placement, and the piercing itself. They did accept walk-ins and I did have to wait a couple minutes but that was to be expected and I wasn’t waiting too long. Kudos to Meghan for making me feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole process while being super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area to give it a try if your looking to get a new piercing and definitely could see people becoming a regular at this place.“

“Didn’t get a tattoo I got a shorter bar for my tongue piercing I got a few weeks ago it was $10 the guy showed me how to change it and make sure it’s tight and to sterilize it before I do that because he had it in a bag with dozens of other rings in stock although it was clean it wasn’t sterilized. There was a few customers getting tattoos at the time in the shop also they seemed very happy with the work as well.“

Both tattoos were done by Paige, and Paige did a third tattoo for me in the past when she worked at Dark Arts. Paige is truly awesome to work with. She did a large cover-up for me, and it is flawless. She takes all of my crazy ideas and turns them into amazing tattoos. Everyone at Chapterhouse has been so nice and welcoming. “Catrina is such an amazing piercer. I’ve been going to her for almost a year now. I went there last August for my second lobes and I was so nervous, but she has such a calming aura and way of talking that it made me confident to get the piercing. Later that year, in November, I went for my right helix and conch once my lobes healed. Another amazing experience. Now it’s been almost a year, and I just got my industrial done. All my piercings have been quick and painless. She’s such an amazing piercer, and I had no issues with any of the piercings she’s done. She’s the only person I trust to “stab” me. She talked me through the whole process from start to finish during the piercing but honestly she was so warm and welcoming from the moment I walked through the door that I was already at ease by the time I went back. Cleanliness: Everything that would touch my skin came in a sealed package. Additionally they have a window into their sterilization room so you can see the process happening.

Stylist: Eric gave great service! I’ve gone to home for two tattoos now. The first tattoo I started to feel light headed and he immediately stopped tattooing me, got up and grabbed me a glass of cold water. He made sure I was good to continue and explained the reasons I may have gotten light headed. 30 minutes later I was done and had a great tattoo I’m super proud of. Eric is now my go to artist for anything I’m planning on getting done. He does great American Traditional but his portfolio is full of amazing tattoos!“
