Mr. Bill Champney is a dream contractor. Skilled? Check. Does everything around the house (inside and out)? Check. Reasonably priced? Check. But can you trust him? How do the descriptors "honest, straight-forward, never-pushy, and transparent" sound to you? Check those too. Bonus: He always left things just as clean as when he arrived. We had him handle a lot of deferred maintenance this summer (for example, wood floors refinishing, painting, outdoor walkway, ceiling fan hanging, install new doors and framing, even some yardwork) and he or his sub-contractors took care of everything with aplomb.
