“I recently worked with Michael, the owner, to start the first of many projects together. I was seeking a company that could do all phases, starting with replacing 9ft windows. Michael came out to the home to assess the project. He was very honest about what they could and could not do. His pricing was very affordable. On the second visit, Michael brought the manufacturer to my home to assess the custom windows I would need. Both gentlemen were very down to earth and gave me customer assurance in the quality of the work and assured me that they could meet my timeframe for installation. On the last visit, Michael brought the carpenter, Ben who would be doing the work. Ben was detailed in explaining the process and how long it would take. The day of the installation, Ben worked diligently to complete the job within the timeframe promised and because he's a carpenter, he was able to cut and install the wooden enclosed sills around each window that absolutely looks beautiful and compliments my home. “Long Story Short: The experience from beginning w/ estimate, to the end of project, was a stellar experience! Will be my first call for future siding work.<br><br>Long Story Long: I needed trim replaced due to rot, and every company (5) would only give me an estimate for an entire trim/siding replacement (w/out paint included!). Jerry's didn't know this, yet told me the siding was perfectly fine and I just needed the trim replaced. Check.<br><br>They scheduled the project and showed up to complete even though I was out of town, which I appreciated. Cleaned up the work site and only minimal garden damage occurred which is impressive with a 3-story situation. Check Check.<br><br>When I reviewed the work, lines were clean, caulking around windows spot-on, AND they painted the trim?! Mind you, 5 companies told me this wasn't included, and Jerry's just did it without mentioning AND their estimate was significantly more affordable than every other estimate. Check mate.<br><br>I moved here from rural areas where contractors/home services valued their work and gave common-sense pricing, and have struggled to find that in companies in the DMV area. Jerry's is 1 of 2 companies I've found here that reflects those principles. Great job. They will be my first call when that siding needs a change ;)“

“I was so stressed after the rains we were having at the beginning of the year. I was noticing brown spots on my bedroom ceiling, as well as around the skylight in the bathroom. I already knew that was an indication of a water leak somewhere, and if not taken care of could lead to bigger issues. After research on Nextdoor app, I ran across this Harriss Roofing. I gave them a call and explained my issue. The women receptionist /office manager was super helpful with walking me through the process of what to expect being a first time homebuyer and this being my first major repair on my home. OMG I cannot be happier with the service that Harriss & Co., LLC provided. They came out Jan 26, 2024 to give me and roof estimate for roof repairs and re-coating of upper main and lower front porch roof. Mr. Harriss came out and took pictures of my roof and told me all of the issues with the roof. He gave an estimate with and without the replacement of the bathroom skylight. The price was very affordable and better then the 1st estimate I received. The repair took 1 day , he brought a 4 man crew started at 8am, entire roof was completed before 1pm. After the work was completed i got roof before and after photos. You can clearly see based off the pictures why I was having leaks. Im very pleased with the after results and the professional service i recieved with this company, highly recommend service.“

“We recently completed a Kitchen Renovation with Remodeling Wizards of Maryland, soup to nuts. All new cabinets, counter tops, ceiling, paint, drywall work, plumbing and electrical were moved.This was a big undertaking. From the first contact with Marirose, to the consultation with John and the construction crew in the house, Remodeling Wizards of Maryland are always professional, personable and kind. Further, the bid and contract are easy to understand with no hidden fees or missing work-orders. Though the project took one week longer than estimated, we were always informed about any delays.All general contractors use sub-contractors for certain jobs. With Remodeling Wizards of Maryland, these subs (plumbing and electrical) are also fully bonded and insured and held to the same high standard all employees are expected to maintain.Why we choose to hire them again and again? First, trustworthy. What they say they will do, they do. They care for my home as if it were theirs. From being on time to cleaning the job site every evening, to ensuring we knew what was happening week by week, we were never concerned about the project. Further, the team, from carpenters to office staff are available for questions, returning phone calls quickly and answering questions fully.We added on a fire-rated garage door project while the kitchen was under construction. The process was similar and just as easy. We did need to wait for the door to arrive from the vendor (ProVia) but install was completed in an afternoon, by another professional and personable sub.These were the 4th and 5th projects we've had John and Marirose's team complete. We've had a front door (also ProVia), and a new 20x20 deck installed, plus a soft wash of the house, all done by Remodeling Wizards of Maryland. “Recently had LKC install a new roof on my townhouse in the Summit Chase neighborhood of Piney Orchard. Also had them completely rebuild the deck as many of the joists were rotting and two actually collapsed! They did an outstanding job on both projects, all work was performed exactly per the contract. They used the best GAF HD energy star shingles and sent pictures of the roofing work which was a nice plus. They also replaced all gutters and downspouts since the old ones on many houses were pulling away from the roof as they were not installed properly. I had to pay someone to bang in the gutter spikes every few years. New gutters look awesome! LKC's attention to detail is top notch. Craig kept in constant communication on status of projects. Crew also did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend LKC for your roof or deck project.“

The owner, Stephen, was the only roofer I spoke with who spoke to me as a person, answering any questions and concerns I had before, during and after the process (involving more than aesthetics of course).
