I have been going here for 3 years since I moved to Towson. The last few months my gel pedi has been very rushed. Last month, the nail tech Jenny cut me on 3 different toes. Going way to fast with the file. She was not my usual tech, mine was out. She also seemed shocked that I tipped her. I question that one myself. I was headed to the beach the next day. My feet burned for 2 days. I went in yesterday to see my regular tech, Amy. Again, a very rushed appointment. She also seemed annoyed. A spa gel pedi in 20 mins. Thst was it for $55 bucks. It was not relaxing nor fun. It was quite overwhelming. To the commenter mentioning the chemical they use to remove gel. This is...read full review
I used to go here for years and it was great. I have not been in a while. I told them I had gel on my nails. They put a chemical on my nails to get it off instead of using acetone and/or manual labor. It started to burn my skin. Two women who worked there walked over and told told them it was burning my skin- I asked 3 times what they put on me and they would not answer. I said acetone doesn’t do this to me he never had a problem. They just said it was stronger than acetone, sorry they scared me. Not sorry they burned me. Ive been coming here for 5 years and it's time for me to find a new nail salon. My tech (who Ive been with forever) now rushes through my nails, takes other clients 10 minutes before my appointment and the past two times I've had to wait 30 minutes over my appointment time. This time my nails were lumpy, all different shapes, and when I went back to have them fixed (which I NEVER do) he used the grinder machine to fix them and left them with grinder mark. I paid for matte polish and he also took the matte layer off and didn't replace it. I spend alot of money here but lately they just don't seem to care. I feel very taken advantage of.
