I recently had the unfortunate experience of learning that my mother was buried in the wrong plot. Rather than allow the cemetery move her ashes I opted to contact a funeral home to assist with obtaining the permit necessary to retrieve her ashes. I was blessed to be referred to Michael Demarest at Rausch funeral home. Michael went above and beyond listening, answering questions and even accompanying me to assist in retrieving my mother’s ashes. Michael offered compassion and empathy throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend Rausch funeral home for their caring and compassionate support to help navigate any situation where their services are needed.

Mike and his wife and the entire family at Raushe funeral home went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my sisters viewings and burial went flawless. They were responsive, caring, compassionate, upfront, detailed and flexible. He did not miss a detail, including handling all newspaper obituaries, contacting the church, the cemetery, the priest, everything. The prayer card turned out beautiful. They assured our family that they would make our sister as presentable and beautiful as she was and they did. We have used a different funeral home previously for our brother and things were nowhere near handled as well as with Raushe. Thank you all again for making the worst day of my life a little better. My father passing was unexpected and I knew right away that we wanted to work with Rausch Funeral Home for their services. My siblings and I were walked through the entire process and able to customize everything for our Dad. Even with COVID restrictions, we were able to celebrate his life and honor him with unique touches. We personalized the casket with a special embroidery and even a custom pin stripe paint job for the car lover that my Dad was. We used a rollback to transport him and the staff was very accommodating to ensure a easy and safe transport along the procession route. Michael and Mr. Gross worked with us to provide a live broadcast so those not able to be there in person, could join us virtually. They helped us work with the cemetery and offered suggestions on flowers, memorial stones and so much more. They truly made the process easy for us so we could focus on the loss of our father. We cannot thank the staff and friendly faces at Rausch enough for helping us through one of our most difficult times.
