Wonderful experience! Never had my hair steamed in all the eight years of growing my locs. Weeks later and I am still getting compliment on my hair! Will definitely be going back! Again and again! You should too!
Have been coming to Loc Central for years and almost consider them family! Wonderful shop, really gets to know the clients, caring environment. They care about your hair and its health. It is popular and the wait times can be long at times. But pack your patience and you will definitely leave loving your hair.
I’ve come here twice so far for loc maintenance with Melissa. I haven’t been to a stylist in at least 10 years. I’ve been retwisting my own locs since my sister started them. I was nervous from the horror stories I’ve heard about stylists in the area, but Melissa truly changed my perspective. She is knowledgeable, patient, and skilled at what she does. My hair is thinning in some places and she knows how to style my hair so that it is not obvious, and is still flattering. She has great suggestions for products and things to do to reverse the thinning, and even discussed tracking my growth each time I get my hair done.
