“So I saw I pic of myself and knew something was off but not sure what. Hair and Nail Creations was recommended some time ago so finally decided to call. I was able to get an appointment that afternoon with Nalini. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. I don’t spend a lot of time primping but I do like an updated easy style. During my consultation Nalini looked at pics on my phone of styles that I was considering. She also looked at older pics of myself and pointed out differences. She pointed out that the blonde was washing me out where a slightly darker shade was much more flattering. We decided on a chin length layer bob with lowlights to brighten my hair. I love it! What a difference. I didn’t have to go home and wash it like I’ve done before. And it’s so easy. As we all know… the true test is what it looks like after we shampoo and style ourselves. Nalini got it right the first time! Thanks Nalini! It’s perfect! BTW…. I felt very pampered!“

“First of all, I've been coming to Loc Central since Oct 2019 and never thought to do a review. It is located inside of Phoenix Salon. It's a strip mall next to the Dollar Tree, Nail Shop, and more. I love this place and I everyone that works here! Talking about a chill vibe that treats you like family!! My stylist, Tyra is everythang!! If she ever stops doing locs, I'm cutting my hair. My daughters also go here for loc maintenance and braids. They are great with children!! But, your children must be able to sit for service. They are busy and have a lot of clientele, so book your appointments in advance. I have only missed one hair appointment since 2019 and that was during COVID. I feel like Rapunzel because my hair has grown so long since 2019. I don't have one negative thing to say!! Definitely recommend trying to get it when they have availability. “

“I went to sola salon studio on September 1, 2023. It was for my birthday and I wanted to get dolled up. I was referred by an a friend. I was told Kelly was amazing. Kelly greeted me and we chatted a bit. She asked a few questions about what I wanted done. I was there to have my natural hair blown out and pressed. Kelly asked many questions concerning my scalp and hair texture. She asked about different kinds of products I prefer or not. I told her even with all the hair I have, that I was tender headed. That was not a problem for her. She washed my hair with so much gentleness. As a matter of fact she washed and massaged my head I think I fell asleep. After the wash and conditioning, Kelly combed my hair and she was so gentle. I was so pleased with how she handled my hair. My blowout and press was absolutely amazing. I had so many compliments and my party was amazing. If you want a luxury treatment see Kelly. She is worth all that she does and I will be be back. She’s absolutely amazing!“
